Why Being in Southern Journeys is Important to Me: "Being in Southern Journeys affords me an opportunity to come together with a group of like-minded women to enjoy the craft of sewing."
About Me: "I started sewing at an early age and really learned when I got to high school. After retiring I joined SRBWI to get a better understanding of the social and economic issues of Rural Black Women and Southern Journeys was a component of that initiative. One of my sayings is 'Be Blessed.'"
